One of the must-go-places in San Francisco, is the Fisherman's Wharf. The area here is surrounded by tourists. You can find many touristattraction, such as Maritime Museum (for interesting exhibits and seafaring artifacts), Pier 39 (is where you can observe the sea lions), Ghirardelli Square (is located very close by), Madame Tussauds and not to mention Boudin Bakery (which is famous for nurturing sour bread since 1849).

Bouding Bakery is place where you will find a restaurant, a gift shop, a bakery and a museum all in one place! For some 30 years ago, Boudin's owner opened the first retail demonstration bakery on Fisherman's Wharf. A 30 foot observation window lets people see the bakery team crafting batches of bread by hand.

Boudin's Bakery Museum provides the rich history of Bouding and San Francisco. You can witness history in the baking, and stroll through the collection of historic and interactive exhibits, as well as observe the bakery in action from the museum's floor-to-ceiling window walls. It is very intriguing and you will be able to see bread made in different animal shapes, sush as a crocodille, a crab, a fish and much much more!

Entry price to the museum: $3 I did unfortunately not take any picture of the crocodille bread, but here you can see some other shaped animals!

Whilst being there, I had to try this Bouding sourdough breadbowl with a soup inside. It tasted nice, but the bread itself didn't apply to my taste, I'm not gonna lie. Honestly, sourdough is my least favourable. I prefer eating wholemeal breadtypes.
