World Famous Wine Growing Region

Napa Valley is a premier travel destination, with it's diverse climates and soils, making it ideal for growing many varieties of grapes and producing wines that are among the best in the world. The most exquisite wines are Cabernet Sauvignon, various Bordeaux style blends, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc.

The Napa Valley has a reputation for pricey, limited edition wines that are held in high esteem by wine collectors. But this didn't stop us in purchasing one of their wines to take with us home! Not to mention, the super cute animal head pourers!

When we were there, we chose to do some winetasting. We were four people together, and were allowed to try two wines per person. So in group of four, we decided which 8 different types of wines we wanted to taste.

This is a must when visiting San Francisco, a beautiful memory in our trip!

Tips:

* In addition to its outstanding wineries and scenic views, travellers can also choose amongst many other activities including hot air ballooning, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, bicycle tours, luxury day spas, an 'Old Faithful' geyser, and even a petrified forest. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see or do any of these things mentioned, but I would love to one day!
