This week we have been busy with writing our business plan. We are required to produce a report that relates to each role using appropriate documentary evidence and references to support our justification. The word count is 8.000 words, that's 1.500 words per individual. The process was not difficult itself, but it included a lot of communication between us in group. A bit confusing part was to add at least 10 references that supports our work. Because I am the Financial Director, I found it a bit difficult to do that. My report was based on the numbers we are faced with, there are no right or wrong answers, we would be assessed by our justification. So justify why is this like that? What does the results tell us? Where do we go from here? What can we do differently to avoid the high costs?
On Sunday we met and worked together, but I wish we had done it earlier. This is after all a group work, and we should all insist in working together and not individually at home. Thus, I found it stressful to complete my work, because it's more difficult to communicate via social media when asking for clarification on something, than what it would have been if we had worked in group from the start.
Another thing I wish we had done, was to look through our work together and adjust any spelling mistakes, grammar and make sure all sections flow with each other. That would have gained us a higher mark, but unfortunately our work was due the next day, and we handed our business plan when we were all stressed and tired.
I learned from these mistakes, and I will push my team members more the next time!
